Over-medium eggs are a little trickier because youre trying to nail the balance between a runny and a firm yolk.
Step 1: Follow the method for how to cook over-easy eggs. After flipping the eggs in the pan, cook for 1 minute.
Step 2: Test to see if the eggs are done by gently poking the yolks with your finger. The yolk should be a little firm, but still have some jiggle.

People who dont want a runny yolk but still want a fried egg will love over-hard eggs, because they have firm, fully cooked yolks.
Step 1: As above, youll start by following the method for over-easy eggs. After flipping the eggs in the pan, cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

The most popular choice, perfectly scrambled eggs can be made by dropping eggs directly over a medium heat pan with a bit of butter. To store cooked eggs for future meals, all you really need are airtight containers. I love using half-pint and pint-size Mason jars and also this set of little glass cubes. For scrambled eggs, omelets, and egg muffins, simply let them cool slightly and store in a container for up to 3 days.
For hard-cooked eggs, let them cool fully and store them for up to 5 days in an airtight container. You can also line a container with a paper towel to absorb any extra moisture that may come off of hard-cooked eggs.

Why: You have a hankering for eggs at the office or in a hotel roomHow: Preheat your plate, swish a little butter around on it, and crack an egg onto it. One side of the egg is cooked in a pan with oil or butter. When the side being cooked is done, the egg is flipped to enable the other side to cook for a few seconds.
2. Sunny-side up
This style lets only one side of the egg cook. The other side is slightly cooked by the heat below. The yolks are left in its liquid form. It was called sunny side up because the appearance of the egg resembles the shape of the sun.
3. Hard boiled
A hard-boiled egg is a result of boiling egg for a long period of time. The egg is placed in boiling water and left there to cook for 12 minutes or more. This will result with eggs having hard whites and yolk.
4. Soft boiled
Soft boiled is the opposite of hard-boiled. Using the same boiling method, eggs are place in boiling water and cooked for a short period of time. The egg white is slightly cooked leaving some parts liquid. It will also produce liquid egg yolks.
This is similar to sunny-side up. However, instead of leaving the yolks as it was, hot oil from the pan is poured over the egg to let the top cook slightly.
This is the opposite of over-easy. One side is cooked then flipped to cook the other side. The egg yolk produced from this style is usually solid.
